Ryder Cup Rules

White (men only) 14-25
Green (men only) 26+
Green (women only) 0-25
Red (women only) 26+
*You may move up in the tee assignment but will be required to play the highest allowable handicap in the group. Example; Player A has a 20 handicap and plays the blue tee, the player’s handicap is now a 13. You may not move down in tee assignment.
*Players are to play the color tees according to their handicap as of May 1. They will always play that color tee for all remaining Ryder Cup play even if their handicap changes. However, always use the updated handicap for each play date.
Ex. – Player on May 1 has a handicap of 26 and is a green tee player. When they play in July their handicap comes down to a 24. They still play from the green tee but they use 24 for a handicap for that date. However, a player has a 13 handicap on May 1 and is a blue tee player. When they play in July their handicap goes up to a 14. They still play from the blue tee but they can only use the maximum of 13 for a handicap for that date.
*All teams should have a sub ready. A sub may be used by different teams. He/she cannot play down. If a team has no player, they lose the alternate shot. In the scramble, the player gets only 1 shot.
In alternate shot, player A tees off at 7,9,11, player B at 8, 10, and 12.
