Rules and Information Sheet
USGA rules govern all play.
Local rules:
o The tree line is to be played as a lateral hazard for tournament play. However, if you wish to play the ball out of the tree line, you may ground your club and remove loose impediments.
§ Lateral hazard: Drop a ball outside the lateral hazard within two club lengths of and not nearer to the hole than the point where the ball last crossed the margin of the lateral hazard.
o Drop areas on holes 12 and 16 are additional options for balls hit into the nearest hazard.
o All white stakes, white lines, silt fences, and boundary fences indicate out of bounds.
o When defined by a fence, the out of bounds line is the inside edge of the posts. Objects defining out of bounds such as walls, fences, stakes and railings are obstructions and are deemed to be “fixed.”
o Red stakes indicate lateral water hazards; yellow stakes indicate water hazards.
o A ball lying against drains, watering devices, or any man-made obstruction may be dropped without penalty, no nearer to the hole.
o Cart Paths- play as immovable obstruction. If the paved path interferes with the players’ stance or swing, a drop may be taken at the nearest point of relief plus one club length no nearer to the hole without penalty.
o Areas constructed for the retention of water must be played as a lateral water hazard.
o Please replace all divots and repair all ball marks.
