Adopt a Hole

There are three components to our ADOPT-A-HOLE program which is an attempt to help preserve and enhance the beauty of our course.

#1 Have volunteers (with a hole captain) sign up for a hole. Eight plus members a hole is a desired goal. These groups will be separated into teams of 2 to 4 members. Assign dates for each group (Monday -early evenings / late afternoons) to fill in divots with sand/seed from 100 yards in to the green. Each group might do this approximately 3 times a season.
#2 Plantings….The captain will organize plantings in the planters only on the their assigned hole. Recommendations will be given for types on flowers. Money will be allotted to each hole for flowers. Players/volunteers for that hole are urged to bring a little extra water when playing and help keep the flowers alive.

#3 Urge members to do extra repair on greens and apron on hole adopted without holding up play.

WE COULD USE SOME ADDITIONAL HELP….contact Bob Tamashunas.
