GOLF ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES-11/03/2011
The meeting was called to order at 3:00 PM. All committee members were present. In addition Bill McCrai n and Joe Jacangelo and Jeff Bebbino were present.
1. Jeff- Frost delays were discussed and the impact on the Tee Sheet. A memo will go out to all golfers concerning the need for frost delays in particular early in the fall season. A discusion on the request for chipping on the practice green now that the pool was closed. Due to the limited area too much turf damage could occur.
2. A deep trenching machine will be used next year to help renove thatch.
3. Holiday gifts for the golf staff was discussed and planned for 2011. Emails and flyers will be available prior to Thanksgiving.
4. Follow up on enhancemants to the recent fee structure presented to the golf community were discussed.
5. More social golf events for 2012 were discussed.
