OLF ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

(Interim meeting)                       January 19, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 3:00 pm. Present were Dennis Igoe, Bob Mazzei, Steve Naples, Paul Squeri, Tom Lewis, Monica DeCicco, and Joe Jacangelo

The rules of golf were reviewed, proposed changes were discussed and finalized and will be compiled and forwarded to the BOD for approval. The head pro has the final say on golf rules. If a member wants to question his say, the member would have to use the RSF system.

It was decided that the Chelsea point system will be used on a trial basis again this year, since we did not get a full/expected sample last year due to the course conditions.

Dennis will send   letter to Jim Ritter to remind him that current insurance must be provided for private golf carts on a yearly basis. The cart decals for this purpose should be done yearly. Current medical letters should also be on file for blue handicap flags on a seasonal basis. Medical refunds have been and will be handled by the community manager.

Tournament Sub-Committee

Tournament dates for the golf season will be forwarded to the golf pro for review to avoid any conflicts. Tournaments will be those from the Mens Golf club and the Womens Golf Club and tournaments by the GAC, and those private tournaments requested from outside groups and arranged with the BOD.

Tom Lewis asked about the status of the  Hole-in-one plaque. It is still with the BOD.

Adopt- a Hole Sub-Committee

Adopt -a Hole was discussed and will be continued this year. The monetary allotment will remain the same. No major changes will be needed. Sign ups will be held at the general meeting in March

inance Sub-Committee

Dennis Igoe, Bob Mazzei, and Monica DeCicco attended the Ad-Hoc Committee

meeting for golf membership fee structure which was held at 11:00 am today.

Miscellaneous

All members of the golf committee were invited to attend the Jan.24th meeting to be

held by the BOD to interview and meet the candidates for Golf Head pro and Head

greenskeeper which are being introduced by Billy Casper Golf.

The next meeting of the Golf Advisory committee will be held Wednesday, Feb 9th at

3 p.m.

The general golf meeting for the entire community will be held Wednesday March 9h, at 7 pm.

Dennis noted we still need to work together to compile articles for the Beacon.

New authorization signatures for the check books need to be done. Monica and Paul

will be on the Christmas fund and Tom and Steve  will be on the trophy checkbook.

The meeting ended at 5.10 pm.
