Golf Advisory Committee Minutes for Aug 4, 2011
Attendees-GAC Committee,Jim Inzalaco, Jeff Bebbino,Joe Jacangelo, Al Regen
1. Handicap committee report- discussed work done in reviewing posted (non-posted scores),the process used to determine which golfers to review, and the results-findings. Letters will be sent to offenders.Individual golfers are responsible for posting their own scores.
2. Jeff-Reviewed issues with member-member, issues with some fairways, greens committee/BCG to send info to members. Use of private carts for ladies day was discussed.
3. Bob suggested we again look into a handicap system to accomodate golfers who are classified as White Tee and cannot reach fairway on some holes. To be discussed in the future.
4. Lengthly discussion of fee proposal for 2012 to be recommended to board. Committee voted 6 for,one against recommended proposal. Additionally several comments in addition to recommended proposal be included in recommendation to the board.
5. Reviewed one case of member misconduct and made recommendation to board for disciplinary action.
